Scott McAllister

Scott McAllister is a patent-holding data scientist, full-stack developer, and cloud solution architect with 11 years of experience delivering mobile, web, and native software. As a Director, Scott leads KPMG’s cloud engineering offerings within Federal Advisory. He has extensive experience developing cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and policy-as-code. As a developer at heart, Scott is proficient in Kubernetes and fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, R, and shell scripting.

Scott has experience with a variety of application backing services in microservice architectures, from SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases to pub/sub, caching, load balancing, and observability/monitoring solutions. He is also an experienced data engineer, well-versed in PySpark within map-reduce environments like Databricks. Scott has led and contributed to a variety of teams at KPMG, covering cloud platform build outs, data engineering, web and mobile development, AI engineering, and risk management across both the civilian and defense sectors.
