Violeta Lagos
Partner, International Tax
Violeta Lagos is the Partner in charge of the International tax practice. She has broad experience in optimizing cross-border transactions and in tax structuring of M&A and tax advisory services.
Violeta has worked in international tax advisory services for the last 15 years and is an expert in investment planning in Latin America at local and regional levels.
She has also collaborated in several projects related to regional transactions and M&A operations, in the optimization of acquisitions, structuring and financing of entities, restructuring of Latin American companies and capital repatriation.
Violeta has experience in digital economy, agriculture, food and beverage, mining, transportation and telecommunication, among others.
Violeta is a frequent speaker on International tax matters for a variety of groups. She has being a key note panelist in several internal and external KPMG Conferences in Buenos Aires, San Pablo, Mexico DF and Miami, among others. In addition, Violeta has given a number of lectures within business taxation at the request of several universities, such as Universidad de Belgrano and Universidad Torcuato di Tella. She has published several articles on newspapers and magazines.
Violeta is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and holds a master’s in corporate finance from Universidad del CEMA (Argentina).
