Anish Koshy
Principal, Deal Advisory & Strategy - TMT
Anish Koshy is a Principal in the KPMG Deal Advisory & Strategy practice, where he advises corporate and private equity clients on M&A in the semiconductor and software/SaaS space - carve-outs, separations, large-scale integrations, and the operational diligence that underpins them. A growing share of his work sits at the intersection of the two, as semiconductor and hardware companies acquire software and IP capability, a shift that is changing how these transactions are diligenced and integrated.
His approach centers on converting deal and transformation priorities into measurable financial outcomes by bridging diligence and execution. He helps clients translate findings into validated synergy targets, executable integration and separation plans, fit-for-purpose operating models, and governance structures that protect value after close. He also advises on where AI can accelerate diligence and transaction execution, improve decision making, and expand value capture opportunities.
Before joining KPMG, Anish was a Principal at EY-Parthenon and an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising strategic acquirers and private equity sponsors on buy- and sell-side diligence, synergy validation, and integration and separation planning across complex transactions. He holds an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
