Tom is a Senior Associate in the KPMG Mergers and Acquisitions tax practice based in Detroit. He joined the firm in 2017 and has experience advising clients with Mergers and Acquisitions tax planning, structuring, due diligence, and related compliance matters.
Since joining the practice, Tom has provided tax structuring and tax due diligence services for numerous domestic and cross-border transactions for both private equity and strategic buyers. In addition, as part of the M&A tax practice, he has experience with tax due diligence, Section 382 analysis and calculations, E&P analysis, and transaction cost analysis.
He has advised clients in various industries including manufacturing, retailing and distribution, financial services, insurance, as well as other service industries.
