Glenn Kaminsky
Managing Director, Washington National Tax
Glenn Kaminsky is a Managing Director in the Trade & Customs group for the KPMG Washington National Tax practice. Glenn specializes in international trade law, national security, and regulatory compliance, drawing on extensive experience from senior legal roles in multiple U.S. federal agencies. He provides technical leadership and strategic guidance to the BTS practice and its clients, with a focus on complex trade issues, supply chain security and sustainability, and international regulatory developments.
Glenn brings valuable experience in the development, implementation and enforcement of U.S. international trade and national security laws and policies. He served as a senior legal advisor at the Departments of Commerce and Homeland Security, where he advised leadership on export controls, economic sanctions, customs procedures, combatting unfair trade practices, and foreign investment reviews. Glenn also served as part of numerous U.S. international trade negotiating teams, with an emphasis on customs and trade facilitation, and he acted as lead counsel for negotiation and conclusion of a first-of-its-kind international agreement on supply chain resilience.
Education
Glenn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Politics from Pomona College and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
