Marissa is an audit senior manager in the KPMG Bay Area Venture Capital Practice that focuses on venture capital backed emerging technology companies. She has 10 years of experience providing financial statement audits to technology companies, including software, SaaS, fintech, platform, and AdTech. Marissa has provided professional audit services to various pre-IPO emerging technology companies in accordance with AICPA requirements and U.S. GAAP. She is currently managing teams working to provide audit services in accordance with PCAOB standards and with AICPA standards for financial statement audits for pre-IPO companies and newly public companies. Her audit experience ranges from financial statement issuance under AICPA standards for private entities, to S-1 SEC filings, to SEC filings for a large multinational integrated audit. Marissa has extensive experience in providing audit services for emerging technology companies, specializing in SaaS and advertising technology.
