Michael is a principal in the KPMG Economic & Valuation Services practice and is based in Houston. He is the technical lead on the National Power & Utilities and Renewables team for the Valuation Practice. He brings more than 19 years of experience performing valuations of business enterprises, equity and debt interests and various intangible assets associated with businesses. He has strong experience in various types of engagements, including allocation of purchase price, impairment analyses, valuation of minority and control equity interest for corporate planning, financial reporting, international tax restructuring and tax planning.
Mike focuses on serving Power & Utility (including renewables) clients that develop, own and/or operate power generation assets. Mike has also advised clients on valuation best practices in the power and utility, infrastructure and asset management industries.
