Brian is a Principal in the KPMG State and Local Tax Practice where he advises public and private clients on a broad array of income/franchise tax issues including consulting and planning, controversy, compliance, and provision.
Brian has experience representing clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense; private equity; asset management; financial institutions; telecommunications, technology and software; retail and manufacturing; television and broadcasting; and energy and renewables. Brian also serves as a national resource for KPMG on strategic consulting initiatives in state taxation and is a frequent speaker on various SALT technical topics.
