Jonathan W Hauser

Jonathan is a Partner in KPMG’s Business Tax Services (BTS) practice in Chicago and has been with the firm since 2004. Jonathan has a broad range of experience with clients in a variety of industries, but he primarily focuses on the consumer and industrial markets and life sciences markets.

Jonathan has extensive experience in both tax compliance and accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) for large consolidated groups of multinational corporations. He serves clients by identifying opportunities to minimize federal and state income taxes in conjunction with the long-term goals of the clients’ shareholders. He has a vast range of experience in working with both privately held and public companies. Jonathan has worked with numerous clients in completing and reviewing tax provisions, identifying tax planning opportunities, advising and implementing policies and procedures for the tax accounting and return preparation processes, coordinating projects with international KPMG member firms, and assisting clients with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) examinations.
