Derek has been with KPMG’s audit practice for 9 years. He has worked in various industries, such as not-for-profit healthcare, insurance and consumer markets.
Derek has significant experience providing Audit services to several healthcare systems and stand-alone healthcare institutions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Accounting Standard (GAS) and NAIC statutory requirements. He also has been exposed to statutory audits in over 10 states through Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid businesses.
