Sam Hall
Partner, Dept. of Professional Practice
Sam is a partner in the Accounting Group of KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP). Sam primarily follows the FASB’s new lease and revenue accounting standards, and serves on the Topic Teams for revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, and income taxes. Sam also co-authors various publications.
Prior to joining the Department of Professional Practice, Sam spent time in KPMG’s Houston office, and primarily served clients in the real estate, building, and construction, oil field services and transportation industries. Sam has served as a national instructor on various firm programs, and has conducted trainings for both national and international audiences.
Sam graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Science in Accounting in 2005.
