Mike is a managing director in the Audit Quality and Professional Practice Group (AQPPG) with more than 12 years of experience with KPMG. Prior to joining AQPPG, Mike was a Senior Manager in the Audit Practice of KPMG Short Hills and has audit experience serving both public and private companies. This includes managing financial statement audits and audits of internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR) for large public companies.
Mike has provided professional audit services to companies in accordance with PCAOB requirements and U.S. GAAP. He has been involved in the audits of several registrants, is familiar with SEC rules and regulations, and has experience with SEC filings. His experience includes the management of audit and staff, coordination of the tax, IT, and other specialists, coordination of multi-location audits with both domestic and international teams, communication with client management, and the execution of detailed audit plans. In addition to his management skills, Mike is well versed in the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
