Sammi is a Director in New York office of KPMG’s Risk Advisory practice where she specializes in Forensic, Regulatory Enforcement and Compliance Advisory services .
She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). She leads a large portfolio of cross-border forensic investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA)/Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), pre- and post-acquisition compliance reviews for leading global Fortune 500 companies, focusing on their affiliates, third parties and business partners located in China, India, Japan, Southeast Asia, Middle East, LATAM and Europe.
She completed one-year secondement at KPMG China Forensic Practice and focused on leading various forensic investigations for the China OpCos of U.S. Multi-National Companies (MNC) related to misconduct, fraud, bribery and corruption, worked closely with client’s Compliance, Internal Audit and Legal departments as well as outside Counsels and provided recommendations for management action plan in terms of monitoring oversight enhancement.
She previously served as an Audit manager in KPMG’s New York Financial Services practice in the investment management industry.
