Rebecca is a Director in KPMG’s Advisory Practice with more than 15 years of experience in leading Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404 compliance efforts for U.S. as well as foreign-based companies. She has expertise in SOX compliance programs for mature companies as well as newly public companies. She has led numerous advisory projects, including SOX compliance efforts, internal audits, financial and operational control reviews, and risk assessments. She also has professional experience in external financial statement and integrated audit services in accordance with PCAOB requirements and U.S. GAAP.
Rebecca’s SOX 404 experience and skills include performing risk assessments; planning and scoping SOX 404 engagements, documenting process narratives, identifying financial statement risks, controls, and control gaps, testing controls for tests of design and operating effectiveness, and deficiency identification, assessment, and remediation.
