Gordon is an Insurance Tax Director at KPMG in the UK and has over 20 years of experience in insurance tax. He has advised insurance clients on a variety of corporate and product tax issues including, transfers of insurance businesses, tax due diligence, corporate and fund restructuring, cross-border reinsurance, issuing regulatory debt, life fund unit pricing and the use of tax transparent fund for asset pooling. He has worked extensively on the interface between tax, actuarial and accounting issues throughout his career, including, Solvency II, IFRS 17 and cashflow modelling.
