Ellen Bowman

Ellen is an Executive Director in KPMG’s Risk Management – Independence group.  She has more than five (5) years of experience ensuring the Firm’s compliance with the independence standards and rules set by the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).  Prior to joining RM – Independence, Ellen spent over 20 years serving both public and private audit clients in a variety of industries.  Ellen leads our ESG Independence Center of Excellence as well as our Independence Culture and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
