Jesse F. Eggert
Senior Managing Director, Washington National Tax
Jesse Eggert is a Senior Managing Director with the International Tax practice for KPMG Washington National Tax, having rejoined the firm in 2025. Jesse’s practice focuses on advising clients on complex international tax issues, particularly tax treaty–related matters and information reporting and withholding. He previously served as a principal in the KPMG Washington National Tax practice from 2017 to 2021, focusing on U.S. and global tax reform issues.
Before rejoining KPMG, Jesse served as a Senior Advisor to the Director on the Tax Challenges of Digitalization at the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration. He also served as a Senior Advisor on the OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Project. Earlier in his career, Jesse was Associate International Tax Counsel in the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy, where he was responsible for developing U.S. international tax guidance, including the FATCA rules, FATCA intergovernmental agreements, and multiple tax treaties and tax information exchange agreements.
Jesse holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School and an A.B., with distinction in all subjects, from Cornell University.
