Justin is a Managing Director in the Washington National Tax, Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution Services (TCDR) practice of KPMG LLP. Justin’s practice covers all areas of tax controversy representation before the IRS, from pre-dispute (voluntary disclosures and Pre-Filing Agreements), through the examination, Appeals, and post-Appeals dispute resolution phases. Justin’s clients include multinational corporations from a broad range of industries. Justin has also been involved in a number of partnership examinations, with an emphasis on the alternative investment industry. He has specific experience in handling IRC Section 482 Transfer Pricing examinations and manages matters through the Competent Authority process. He has also assisted clients in managing their multi-jurisdictional exam processes, and in addressing Treaty Exchange of Information issues. Since joining KPMG, Justin has represented clients at these various levels of dispute on a variety of domestic, cross-border, and partnership issues. He also assists clients with the development of internal policies and procedures for managing global tax disputes. Justin is also a member of KPMG’s Global Tax Dispute Resolution & Controversy steering committee. He received his B.A. degree from Quinnipiac University, his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and LLM Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
