Komal Dhall
Principal, Economic & Valuation Services
I’m the Head of KPMG’s Global Transfer Pricing Services Practice, where I work together with Heads of Tax and Transfer Pricing Leaders from KPMG’s member firms around the world to address the needs of our global clients and our practice as a whole on areas such as our engagement with various institutions on policy, our practice strategy, and overall operational efficiencies. Our team comprises economists, tax practitioners, lawyers and financial analysts who work together across our network to provide what is often referred to by our clients as seamless global services.
Prior to my current position, I served as Transfer Pricing Leader of our UK practice from 2013 to 2016 when the final drafts of BEPS Actions 8-10 were issued and the UK first implemented its Diverted Profits Tax (“DPT”). This time gave me direct experience with taxpayers navigating the new implications of BEPS and DPT.
I started my career in the New York office and led our Americas technology, media, and telecommunications sector for transfer pricing. I continue to practice in the Greater New York Area today, and given the prominence of technology and media in all commercial sectors I have experience across the gamut of key industries. I've continued to support my clients in the areas of business model planning, restructuring, compliance and transfer pricing defense.
I joined KPMG in 1998 and was named to the firm’s partnership in 2006. I began my career in 1996 in Orange County, CA with another major accounting firm. Over the span of my career, I’ve focused on serving multinational corporations and publicly held clients. My clients are primarily Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies.
