Sandeep Chotrani

Sandeep is a Managing Director in the KPMG Audit practice with more than 16 years of experience serving public and private companies across the technology, industrial manufacturing, automotive, and retail sectors. He has extensive experience leading cross-border audit engagements involving the application of both IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Sandeep advises engagement teams and serves audit clients on a broad range of complex accounting and financial reporting matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, goodwill and intangible assets, inventory and statement of cash flows. Through his KPMG Department of Professional Practice (DPP) experience, he has supported SEC reviewing partners in the execution of engagement quality reviews, contributed to the implementation of QC 1000 within the firm, participated in audit quality and methodology initiatives, and contributed in development of content for the KPMG accounting and financial reporting publications. In addition, Sandeep has collaborated extensively with the PCAOB in support of KPMG inspection activities and has participated in discussions on technical matters with the PCAOB.

Prior to joining KPMG US, Sandeep spent nine years with KPMG India, where he served large multinational organizations reporting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP. He is a licensed CPA and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
