Geoffrey is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services practice. He has over 14 years of professional experience involving global transfer pricing documentation and planning, Advance Pricing Agreements, dispute resolution, and general consulting across a variety of industries.
Geoff brings experience from a recent international assignment to Denmark where he collaborated with clients to develop transfer pricing strategies to support decarbonization efforts.
Geoffrey has relevant experience with the transfer pricing and tax issues surrounding the planning and implementation of internal carbon pricing schemes. Specifically, in 2023, Geoffrey designed several tax and transfer pricing frameworks for a global logistics company to adhere carbon fees to the “arm’s length” standard and increase the likelihood of the tax deductibility of internal carbon fees. Geoffrey’s relevant areas of service include the following:
Supported with the implementation of an internal carbon price (ICP) at a global pharmaceutical company, including transfer pricing planning concerning the ICP program.
He is engaged with KPMG’s ESG Tax practice, developing thought-leadership on the intersection of corporate decarbonization and transfer pricing (e.g., pricing of carbon credits, structuring of internal carbon pricing schemes) to help drive the reduction of carbon emissions in the corporate sector.
