Steve is a Principal in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) group for the KMPG Washington National Tax practice. Steve advises KPMG clients on all aspects of corporate taxation, with a particular emphasis on spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions, debt and equity offerings, and consolidated returns. Steve is a principal author to the PLI outline Corporate Distributions Under Section 355.
Steve is a member of the D.C. Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He earned his JD degree from Tulane Law School, where he served on the Tulane Law Review, was awarded the Research Institute of America Award in Taxation, and graduated summa cum laude. He earned his LLM degree in taxation from New York University School of Law where he served on the Tax Law Review and received the Harry J. Rudick Award for Distinction.
