Hongfei graduated from the University of Missouri with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has more than 8 years of experience on large-scale problem solving using big data techniques and 10 years of experience on data analytics, and hybrid cloud (e.a. Azure Arc), multi-cloud migration/computing e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS and modern application containerization using Kubernetes/OpenShift. He has extensive knowledge in Cloud Computing, Big Data and Machine Learning domains and design/develop many advanced Big Data ETL and analytics application for clients mainly using Hadoop and Spark. He also led engineer team in multiple-cloud migration using DevOps like Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible Playbookon both VM and Kubernetes platform. He has advanced knowledge and hands-on experiences on machine learning, cognitive computing, GenAI/LLM finetuning using Open Source LLM.
