Steve Borman

Steve Borman is a partner in the Accounting Methods and Credit Services group in the Tax practice of the New York office of KPMG LLP. Steve has more than 17 years of client service experience in assisting companies with federal tax planning and delivering bottom line in a variety of industries. He has been recognized as a medalist for outstanding performance on the CPA examination and a national finalist in a “40 under 40” in accounting advisory.

Steve focuses on tax accounting methods, federal tax credits, and other federal tax incentives. He has experience serving taxpayers in various industries, including banking and financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, private equity, and other industries. In addition, he has been published in tax technical journals and has been a speaker at tax executive seminars hosted by various tax and legal education organizations as well as the Tax Executives Institute.
