Michael Ayachi
Seconded Partner, Head of Luxembourg Tax Center
Michael Ayachi has more than 15 years of experience in international tax matters spent at KPMG Luxembourg. He also worked for two years as an auditor at another Big Four firm in Luxembourg. Currently, Michael is seconded to the U.S. member firm of KPMG International, where he heads the Luxembourg Tax Center in New York.
Michael works with international groups and provides support on business restructurings, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and exit strategies. He is also extensively involved in tax review process (under local GAAP and IFRS) to support audit teams.
In addition, Michael leads the intellectual property (IP) service offer for KPMG in Luxembourg, tackling IP-related transactions from income tax, transfer pricing, and valuation perspectives. He has been a member of the public working group supporting the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance on various aspects concerning the IP law.
