Camille Asaro is an Assurance Partner in the Private Equity Industry. Camille has over 30 years of experience in financial reporting, internal controls, valuation, and governance in the financial services industry. Camille is the Global Lead Partner for private investment companies with assets under management of $500 billion. Camille is a certified alternative investment analyst (CAIA).
Camille is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Most recently, Camille spoke at the SuperReturn CFO/COO Forum addressing how PE firms can optimise AI Integration and at the Women’s Annual Investors Forum discussing the resilience of women in the Financial Services Industry. Additionally, Camille has authored thought leadership through her work with the Women in Alternative Investment, “Women Climbing the Ladder in Asset Management”. She is a founding contributor of the KPMG’s Women in Alternative Investments Report.
Camille is passionately involved with KPMG’s inclusion initiative specifically focusing on positioning underrepresented groups for career success and board seats. Currently, Camille serves as a board director for the International Women’s Forum - New York Chapter and the PEWIN Foundation. Camille spent 3 years as a board director for Women Corporate Directors Foundation.
Camille received her BSBA in accounting from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business and is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified alternative investment analyst (CAIA). Camille has been recognized in Crane’s New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting.
