Adil will lead the audit and will be responsible for the setting of the overall audit strategy and co-ordination of KPMG’s audit services to the Company.

Relevant Experience

Adil has over 18 years of experience in the UK and UAE.

He has considerable external audit experience which spans across both financial and non financial sectors including significant experience in insurance, government entities, asset management and family businesses.

Adil also represents KPMG in the XBRL Steering Committee headed up by the Securities and Commodities Authority in conjunction with the 2 local stock exchanges in the UAE and is a nominated QPRT (qualified person responsible for training) in Abu Dhabi by his institute, ICAEW.

He has led our audit teams in a number of major audit assignments. He has played an active role in transitioning many of our key strategic clients. The most recent transition involved a group with over 60 entities covering a large geographical region, comprising of the Middle East, North Africa and European territories.

Key current insurance clients include: Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company PJSC, Orient Insurance PJSC, AXA Green Crescent Insurance PJSC, Royal and Sun Alliance (Middle East) B.S.C, Orient UNB Takaful PJSC, Emirates Insurance Company PJSC, Al Wathba National Insurance Company PJSC and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance.
