Julie Luecht is the Houston Office Managing Principal (OMP) and is responsible for the strategic direction, leading market strategy, developing and inspiring over 1,500 professionals, delivering outstanding client care, and driving the Core Values of the firm. With more than 30 years of professional experience, she has extensive background assisting global organizations in identifying, understanding, measuring, and reporting business and technology-related risks. She’s also the lead relationship partner for a major oil & gas and utility company.

Prior to becoming OMP, Julie held various firm roles – most recently serving as the Advisory Market Leader for the Houston Hub, and US Advisory Industry Leader for the Energy, Natural Resources, and Chemicals Sector. As the Advisory Market Leader, Julie’s role was to increase the size of the Houston advisory business as well as she has spearheaded several initiatives and programs to recruit, maintain, develop, and manage talent. During her tenure as the Advisory Market Leader, she has been active with campus recruiting, summer internship program, and onboarding of new associates. 

Julie is known among colleagues as a collaborative leader, living KPMG’s Values of Together and For Better by serving as a mentor and champion of diversity and inclusion. She’s also active in KPMG’s Network of Women and has developed creative programs to increase morale, teaming and collaboration. 

In addition, she’s also passionate and committed to serving her community and is actively involved with the Greater Houston Partnership, Central Houston, CEO's Against Cancer, a board member for Make-A-Wish and March of Dimes, and a member of Alexis de Tocqueville since 2003.

Julie received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Southern California.
