Ed Chanda

Ed has over 30 years of experience serving the insurance industry, both property casualty and life, and has been a KPMG Partner since 2001.
Ed serves as a member of KPMG’s Global Insurance Leadership Team. He formerly served as KPMG’s National Sector Leader for Insurance, leading the US Firm’s insurance advisory, tax, and audit practices.
He helped lead the firm’s efforts around the insurance contracts projects of the FASB and IASB. From 2006 to 2008, Ed was part of KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice. While in the department, his areas of focus included insurance accounting issues, IFRS, compensation & benefits, and financial instruments and restatements.
Ed currently serves on the Advisory Board for KPMG’s Veteran’s Network, which is committed to fostering an environment of inclusion that encourages the recruitment, retention, and success of current and former military service members.
