His persistent approach to cyber defense against nation-state hackers has redefined the national and global security playbooks, while his emphasis on partnerships fostered a collaborative ecosystem transcending international, interagency, and private sector agencies. Nick Adams is the co-founder and Managing Partner of New York-based seed fund Differential Ventures. Previously, Nick was a Venture Partner at Supernode.vc, f.k.a. Flatiron Investors, where he evaluated seed- stage tech companies and led the due diligence for multiple investments. Before starting Differential, Nick held senior sales, marketing, and product management roles for software companies that have realized over $1.3 billion in exit value, including: Opower (IPO), RAGE Frameworks (acquired by Genpact), Basware (Publicly-traded on OMX), and Comverge (acquired by Itron). Nick is an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University Business School’s MBA Program where he helps teach Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital.

Nick has been on the board of several tech companies, including Ocrolus, which was named the '2020 Fastest Growing FinTech Company in the US’ by Inc. Magazine and a ‘Next Billion Dollar Startup’ in 2022 by Forbes. He is also on the board of ‘Off the Record,’ a non-profit dedicated to the support of venture-backed startup founders. In 2018, Nick was an investor on ZeeTV’s startup show ‘Break Through the Crowd’ which follows the journey of several entrepreneurs. Nick has a MSc in Global Finance from NYU and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a MBA in Corporate Finance from Northeastern University, and a BA in History from Brandeis University where he played varsity baseball.

Anik Bose has 15 years of active venture capital and corporate development experience, with particular emphasis on transaction structuring and strategic planning, including 7 years as SVP, Corporate Development at 3Com Corporation, and 10 years as General Partner at BGV. In his role as SVP, Corporate Development at 3Com he played a significant role in company strategy, managed a $250MM corporate venture fund and a team of 20 investment and business development professionals, spearheaded 20 venture capital investments and executed numerous spin out transactions as well as several large M&A transactions totaling over $1.4Bn in value.

His venture investments on behalf of 3Com Ventures (3CV) include – Mesh Networks, Parthus, Cicada Semiconductor, Microtune, ADMTek, Atrica, Intransa, Sheer Networks, Air Prime, Yipes, Silicon Wave and Healthetec. In his role at BGV, Anik is currently a General Partner and works closely with Eric Benhamou. He is very active in every portfolio company where he spearheaded the investment, and serves as board member of Cyberinc, WebScale and Blue Cedar Networks.

Anik has extensive global experience as a private company director, having served on the board of several 3CV and BGV portfolio companies and on the board of H3C. As a senior operational executive, Anik architected the creation and launch of the fastest growing Asian networking company H3C, a joint venture between Huawei and 3Com.

H3C achieved annual revenues of over $700 million and a market valuation of $1.8Bn within 36 months of launch. H3C was formed in 2003 with two key objectives: (1) Establish a significant market presence in China, the world’s fastest growing LAN switching and routing market; and (2) Establish world class R&D platform in China for LAN switching and routing at a highly competitive cost structure. At the time of formation, H3C was the first joint venture of its kind between a Silicon Valley technology company and a China based technology company focused on exploiting global markets.

Anik was the lead executive for 3Com who oversaw the growth of H3C, resolved day to day operational issues, worked closely with H3C management, nurtured the Huawei strategic relationship and ultimately negotiated the buyout of Huawei’s ownership stake by 3Com in late 2006.

Earlier in his career, Anik served as a Partner in the High Technology Strategy Practice of Deloitte Management Consulting in San Francisco as well as a Principal in the High Tech Strategy Practice of Gemini Management Consulting. In his management consulting roles Mr. Bose worked with high tech companies such as LSI Logic, Advanced Micro Devices and Hewlett Packard.

Anik Bose has 15 years of active venture capital and corporate development experience, with particular emphasis on transaction structuring and strategic planning, including 7 years as SVP, Corporate Development at 3Com Corporation, and 10 years as General Partner at BGV. In his role as SVP, Corporate Development at 3Com he played a significant role in company strategy, managed a $250MM corporate venture fund and a team of 20 investment and business development professionals, spearheaded 20 venture capital investments and executed numerous spin out transactions as well as several large M&A transactions totaling over $1.4Bn in value.

His venture investments on behalf of 3Com Ventures (3CV) include – Mesh Networks, Parthus, Cicada Semiconductor, Microtune, ADMTek, Atrica, Intransa, Sheer Networks, Air Prime, Yipes, Silicon Wave and Healthetec. In his role at BGV, Anik is currently a General Partner and works closely with Eric Benhamou. He is very active in every portfolio company where he spearheaded the investment, and serves as board member of Cyberinc, WebScale and Blue Cedar Networks.

Anik has extensive global experience as a private company director, having served on the board of several 3CV and BGV portfolio companies and on the board of H3C. As a senior operational executive, Anik architected the creation and launch of the fastest growing Asian networking company H3C, a joint venture between Huawei and 3Com.

H3C achieved annual revenues of over $700 million and a market valuation of $1.8Bn within 36 months of launch. H3C was formed in 2003 with two key objectives: (1) Establish a significant market presence in China, the world’s fastest growing LAN switching and routing market; and (2) Establish world class R&D platform in China for LAN switching and routing at a highly competitive cost structure. At the time of formation, H3C was the first joint venture of its kind between a Silicon Valley technology company and a China based technology company focused on exploiting global markets.

Anik was the lead executive for 3Com who oversaw the growth of H3C, resolved day to day operational issues, worked closely with H3C management, nurtured the Huawei strategic relationship and ultimately negotiated the buyout of Huawei’s ownership stake by 3Com in late 2006.

Earlier in his career, Anik served as a Partner in the High Technology Strategy Practice of Deloitte Management Consulting in San Francisco as well as a Principal in the High Tech Strategy Practice of Gemini Management Consulting. In his management consulting roles Mr. Bose worked with high tech companies such as LSI Logic, Advanced Micro Devices and Hewlett Packard.

Previously, he was the General Manager of IBM Watson and was Chairman of the Board at the US Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, San Antonio where he served for six years in that role.

Prior to IBM, Saxena was the founder and CEO of two venture-backed software companies which were acquired within a five-year span by Commerce One and by IBM.

In his new role, Schilowitz, who was previously a consulting futurist at Fox, will work closely with the Paramount and Viacom technology teams to explore all forms of new and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on virtual reality and augmented reality.

At Fox, Schilowitz worked on the evolving art and science of advanced motion picture creation and devised strategies on future technology and the vision of cinema for the next generation of movie entertainment.

He was a founding member of the product development team at RED Digital Cinema, producing ultra-high resolution digital movie cameras. He also is one of the founders and creators of the G-Tech product line of advanced hard-drive storage products implemented worldwide for professional TV and multimedia content creation. Prior to RED Digital Cinema and G-Tech, he was on the team that developed and launched the Macintosh products desktop-video division of AJA Video Systems that created the groundbreaking Kona Cards and IO boxes in tandem with Apple.

Schilowitz also continues in his role as chief creative officer at Barco Escape, where he's been spearheading the creative aspects of the Barco Escape cinema project, which adds immersive right and left screens to movie theaters. Previous titles that have used the technology include The Maze Runner and Star Trek: Beyond.

Gamiel’s role in supporting Mayfield’s founders in their journey from inception to iconic is captured in the Founders Masterclass that he frequently presents, which supports key themes of how best to fund-raise capital, realize “violent” product-market fit, and the three stages of early go-to-market traction.

He and his team have built a global network of CXOs, called the Mayfield Innovation Network, made up of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and business leaders from across all industries, who need access to new ideas to compete in their own markets. This is a highly engaged global network whose members join CXO Insight forums, CXO of the Future Podcasts, and provide their annual priorities in formal reports.

Gamiel brings more than 25 years of operational and venture capital experience to the Mayfield team. He previously served as Chief Strategy Officer for SOASTA (acquired by Akamai) and was responsible for ongoing operational improvements in sales, marketing, channels, plus strategic partnerships, corporate development, and investment support. Gamiel was also a partner at Sierra Ventures, responsible for leading the Sierra CIO Summit attended by over 150 Global CIOs for eight years. He has also held executive leadership roles at IBM, Oracle, BEA (acquired by Oracle), Appcelerator (acquired by Axway), and Cassatt (acquired by CA).

Gamiel is a California native, father of three, and husband of more than 30 years. He loves to give back as a volunteer to his community and to local universities. He frequently supports students and founders who want to turn ideas into businesses

Ted Schilowitz is the first-ever Futurist-in-Residence for Paramount Pictures. In his new role, Schilowitz, who was previously a consulting futurist at Fox, will work closely with the Paramount and Viacom technology teams to explore all forms of new and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on virtual reality and augmented reality.

At Fox, Schilowitz worked on the evolving art and science of advanced motion picture creation and devised strategies on future technology and the vision of cinema for the next generation of movie entertainment.

He was a founding member of the product development team at RED Digital Cinema, producing ultra-high resolution digital movie cameras. He also is one of the founders and creators of the G-Tech product line of advanced hard-drive storage products implemented worldwide for professional TV and multimedia content creation. Prior to RED Digital Cinema and G-Tech, he was on the team that developed and launched the Macintosh products desktop-video division of AJA Video Systems that created the groundbreaking Kona Cards and IO boxes in tandem with Apple.

Schilowitz also continues in his role as chief creative officer at Barco Escape, where he's been spearheading the creative aspects of the Barco Escape cinema project, which adds immersive right and left screens to movie theaters. Previous titles that have used the technology include The Maze Runner and Star Trek: Beyond.

He is also a fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab associated with the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
