Energy Institute 2025 Statistical Review of World Energy

KPMG is proud to be working in association with the Energy Institute on the latest Statistical Review of World Energy.

With continued volatility impacting the industry, it’s imperative that energy and natural resource organizations have a go-to source of energy data.

KPMG is proud to be working in association with the Energy Institute on the latest Statistical Review of World Energy. The Statistical Review compiles and analyses data on world energy production, consumption, and emissions from the prior year. It has been providing timely, broad-ranging, and objective data to the energy community since 1952. It is free for users to access.

The new 2025 edition of the Statistical Review of World Energy provides free-to-access data on global energy production, consumption, trade and emissions for the full year 2024.

Energy Institute 2025 Statistical Review of World Energy

We have entered an era of energy addition rather than substitution. The imperatives of national security and affordability are driving governments to choose the energy mix that best serves their immediate needs – whether that means ramping up domestic gas production, deploying solar, investing in nuclear, or in many cases, all the above.
