Joe Giovanelli is a tax leader at Databricks with extensive experience across corporate tax, accounting for income taxes, U.S. federal taxation, and global tax operations. He leads a wide range of strategic tax initiatives, including M&A tax diligence and integration, IPO readiness, global tax compliance, and equity compensation tax matters. Throughout his career, Joe has focused on solving complex business challenges by partnering across functions to develop practical solutions that support broader business objectives while managing tax risk and compliance.

Tyler Murakami leads Finance, Data, and AI Strategy at Databricks, where he's focused on reshaping how finance and accounting teams operate by running them on Databricks itself. Over more than 4+ years, he has led a range of initiatives spanning technical accounting and commercialization policy, system implementations, finance process re-engineering, AI initiatives, and data transformation and ETL projects. Prior to Databricks, Tyler worked at Elastic and Deloitte, focusing on auditing, new accounting standard adoption, and technical accounting policy, serving in Deloitte's National Office covering revenue recognition and SEC services, and supporting audit and reporting advisory engagements.
