Subra Seshadri is Fannie Mae’s Vice President of Loan Servicing & Securitization Technology (LSST), reporting to the SVP of Single-Family Technology. In this role, Subra oversees Servicing Loan Performance, Servicing Non-Performing Loans, and Master Servicing by driving ease of execution and providing transparency to servicers. Additionally, Subra supports the Securitization process for all MBS and Structured Transactions by overseeing integration with the Common Securitization Platform (owned by US FinTech) to handle issuance, bond admin, tax and disclosures. Subra is responsible for:
- Loan Management Future State (LMFS), modernizing loan management processes, policies, and technology to enable full Master Servicing lifecycle and standing up an integrated Servicing Platform with unified portal, Servicing Data Lake and Loan Master.
- P360 Target State, retiring the FALCON mainframe and eliminating legacy technology risk, streamlining operations, enhancing servicer experiences, and modernizing processes powered by automation and AI.
- Loan Quality Transformation, leveraging generative AI and advanced workflow technologies to optimize loan QC underwriting and enable 100% certainty.
- Securitization, simplifying and optimizing Fannie Mae’s Single-Family Securitization process ecosystem.
Experience: Subra is a seasoned technology leader with over 29 years of experience driving digital transformation and leading large-scale technology organizations to deliver competitive business advantage. A results-driven visionary, he combines strategic thinking with a passion for innovation, serving as a catalyst for organizational change. Before his current role, he led technology strategy, enterprise architecture policies, standards, governance, and platforms within the CTO division, as well as corporate functions architecture. Previously, as Senior Director of Technology in Integrated Technology Solutions (ITS), Subra spearheaded the multi-year strategic Multifamily DUS Now program, delivering an industry-disruptive product. He also drove digital transformation for Multifamily, leading innovation initiatives, cloud migration, and adoption of the Enterprise Operating Model across the portfolio.
Board Affiliations: Subra serves on Gartner’s Enterprise Architecture & Innovation Executive Advisory, and on George Mason University’s Center for Excellence in Government Cybersecurity Risk Management & Resilience.
Education: Subra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (India) and a Master’s Degree in Technology Management from George Mason University. He also has a Federal Chief Information Officer certification from the Federal CIO Council and obtained leadership coaching from MIT-Sloan School of Management.
