The Finance Act 2026, which was enacted on June 25, 2026, amends multiple statutes, including the Income Tax Act, Corporation Tax Act, Miscellaneous Taxes Act, Petroleum Regulations, Income Tax (In Aid of Industry) Act, Liquor Licences Act, Companies Act, Customs Act, Trustee Ordinance, Partnership Act, Registration of Business Names Act, and Non-Profit Organisations Act.

Key measures include:

  • Tax exemptions for approved pension and deferred annuity plans
  • Tax deductions for contributions to government-established funds
  • Tax credits for landlords who pay the Landlord Business Surcharge
  • Tax incentives for marginal marine gas field development
