Singapore: Income tax treaty with Tanzania signed

The Ministry of Finance announced on June 10, 2026, that Singapore and Tanzania signed an income tax treaty on June 9, 2026.

The treaty clarifies taxing rights of both countries on cross-border income, addresses double taxation, and includes key terms on permanent establishment (PE), natural resource activities, dividends, interest, royalties, and fees for technical services. It will enter into force upon ratification by both countries.
