The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) released the Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) annual report for FY 2025–2026, providing an overview of the progress and key developments in India's APA program during the year.

The report reflects another significant year for the APA program, marked by strong taxpayer participation, increased bilateral engagement with treaty partners, and continued efforts by CBDT to enhance the efficiency of APA administration.

The report also outlines legislative and administrative developments associated with the transition to the Income-tax Act, 2025 and Income-tax Rules, 2026.
