Namibia: Updated excise duty rates on beer, wine, tobacco

New rates apply from February 25, 2026.

The government of Namibia has published Government Notice No. 111 of 2026 (March 23, 2026) amending Part 2A of Schedule No. 1 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1998.

The notice revises the excise duty rates for specified goods, such as beer, wine, and tobacco. The new rates apply from February 25, 2026.
