The Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) on March 25, 2026, issued an Industry Advisory, announcing that the tax information authority has extended the deadline for the registration of certain required information by Cayman reporting cryptoasset service providers (RCASPs) under the cryptoasset reporting framework (CARF) to January 31, 2027, previously scheduled for April 30, 2026.

The extension has been granted to allow RCASPs sufficient time to comply once the DITC portal functionality becomes available.
