Hungary: President signs laws ratifying multilateral agreements concerning international tax transparency

The agreements will become effective once the entry date is announced in the Official Gazette at a later date.

The president of Hungary signed three laws ratifying multilateral agreements concerning international tax transparency, as published in Official Gazette (Magyar Közlöny) No. 127, dated October 31, 2025.

  • Cryptoasset reporting framework (CARF) multilateral competent authority agreement (MCAA)
  • Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Information on Income Derived through Digital Platforms (DPI MCAA)
  • Common reporting standard (CRS)

The agreements will become effective once the entry date is announced in the Official Gazette at a later date.
