The Public Revenue Office and Ministry of Finance in June 2025 presented the e-Faktura reform to modernize invoicing with a centralized, real-time platform.

The system aims to improve value added tax (VAT) reporting and reduce tax evasion, with a pilot phase beginning January 1, 2026, and mandatory adoption by the third quarter of 2026.
