EC publishes 2026 version of Combined Nomenclature

Updated basis for declaration of goods, applicable as of January 1, 2026

The European Commission (EC) today published the 2026 version of the Combined Nomenclature (CN), which will be applicable as of January 1, 2026. The CN forms the basis for the declaration of goods during importation, exportation, or intra-Union trade statistics, determining customs duty rates and statistical treatment.

Established by Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87, the CN is updated annually and published as a Commission Implementing Regulation in the Official Journal of the European Union.
