List includes 40 specified jurisdictions
The legislative instrument including the “list of specified jurisdictions” for public country-by-country (CbC) reporting was registered with Parliament on December 17, 2024.
Under the public CbC reporting rules, which received Royal Assent on December 10, 2024, and apply for reporting periods beginning on or after July 1, 2024, required disclosures can be aggregated for all foreign jurisdictions unless they appear on the list of specified jurisdictions.
There is only one change to the list of 40 specified jurisdictions compared to the draft list previously issued, with Liechtenstein now excluded. The list still includes jurisdictions such as Singapore, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.
