Two-time major champion joins roster of KPMG brand ambassadors on PGA and LPGA Tours
KPMG U.S. is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with PGA TOUR star Collin Morikawa. As part of the agreement with KPMG, Morikawa will feature the KPMG logo on his yardage book during official golf events, beginning this week at the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
Currently ranked eighth in the Official World Golf Rankings, Morikawa is a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR, highlighted by two Major championship victories at the 2020 PGA Championship and 2021 Open Championship. Morikawa has also represented Team USA twice in major international competitions, playing a significant role in American victories at the 2020 Ryder Cup and 2022 Presidents Cup. Morikawa played collegiate golf at the University of California-Berkeley, where he won the 2019 Pac-12 Conference Championship and spent several weeks atop the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Team KPMG as a brand ambassador," Morikawa said. "KPMG has done so much to grow the game of golf and I’m excited to be joining their great roster of ambassadors on the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour. We have a big 2023 season ahead and I look forward to winning together.”
This relationship is part of KPMG’s sports sponsorship platform, which includes fellow KPMG ambassadors and LPGA Tour golfers Stacy Lewis (USA), Mariah Stackhouse (USA), and Leona Maguire (Ireland), as well as PGA TOUR golfer Maverick McNealy (USA).
Welcome to Team KPMG, Collin!
