Lottie Woad reigns supreme in the Queen City
KPMG ambassador earns second career LPGA Tour victory
Lottie Woad is one again a champion on the LPGA Tour.
Riding an impressive -12 through her final 54 holes, Lottie prevailed Sunday at the Kroger Queen City Championship to earn a two-shot victory, the second of her LPGA career.
"This one is definitely a little sweeter than the first one," Lottie said. "I've seen how good everyone is out here, so it's good to win again."
Lottie entered Sunday's final round with a three-shot lead on the heels of an 11-under par stretch over 36 holes on Friday and Saturday. Tough conditions in Cincinnati on Sunday led to a bumpy start, with Lottie falling back into a tie of the lead on the front nine. Staying steady, Lottie prevailed down the stretch, making a huge birdie on 17 to increase her lead to two. An easy two-putt on 18 followed, paving the way to another LPGA tournament title.
"I played pretty good tee to green," Lottie said. "Other than the double, I hit a lot of greens and fairways. It was pretty windy out there, so it was key to have the lead."
Sunday's victory is the highlight of what has been an impressive start to Lottie's first full season on the LPGA Tour. Currently ranked no. 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings and no. 7 in the Race to the CME Globe, her confidence is peaking with a couple major championships on the horizon.
"I feel good," Lottie said. "I was feeling good coming into this week even though I missed the cut last week, and results-wise it's been pretty good with some top-10s and top-15s. It was nice to get off to a good start this week, and I feel like whenever I'm in contention or in the lead, I can get it done most of the time."
Congratulations Lottie and good luck in the rest of the 2026 LPGA season!
