Danny Zamora is a partner in the KPMG Department of Professional Practice (DPP) focusing on technical matters related to business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, leases and long-lived assets, financial statement presentation, and SEC reporting. Danny also serves as an SEC reviewing partner assistant for several audit engagements. Prior to joining DPP, he served a wide variety of audit clients and served as a Professional Accounting Fellow at the US. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of the Chief Accountant. There he supported the SEC’s Chief Accountant and Commissioners on complex accounting and reporting matters, FASB standard-setting projects, and rule-making initiatives.
Danny has over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and auditing and is a licensed CPA in New York, Florida, and Tennessee.
