John is a director in KPMG’s Advisory Services focused on driving large-scale, cross-functional procurement transformation programs with extensive advisory and industry experience. Across his 20+ year career, he has worked with a wide spectrum of clients across industries to drive tangible results by enabling excellence through optimized procurement operating models, enhanced strategic sourcing and category management practices, accelerated contracting processes, strengthened supplier management, and implementing technologies that enable high performing procurement functions.
John previously served as the Head of Technology & Digital Sourcing at a large financial services firm with over $1.5 trillion in assets under management. In this role, his primary scope of responsibility included leading teams focused on driving category strategies, developing sourcing plans, and negotiating complex, high-value supplier contracts with the firm's most strategic suppliers, generating $50-$200M in savings and cost avoidance annually.
John holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
