Jason Whittet leads business development for KPMG in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he helps state and local leaders drive business transformation through cloud, data, and emerging technologies. He focuses on modernizing public sector operations and building strategic collaborations that translate complex technology into long-term value for the public sector.
With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of government and innovation, Jason specializes in helping public sector organizations navigate complex procurement and launch large-scale digital initiatives. His professional history includes supporting the development of the $100M MB123 broadband network and the Smart City Innovation Center at Arizona State University. Prior to joining KPMG, he held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), General Electric, and the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative.
Jason combines policy fluency with deep technology market experience, having served as a fiscal policy analyst in the Massachusetts State Senate and a veteran of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University and is a frequent speaker on digital public infrastructure and the practical application of AI in the public sector.
