Christopher Whitcomb

Chris is a Managing Director in the Practice, Procedure, and Administration group for the KPMG Washington National Tax practice. He specializes in tax controversy and assists clients with resolving administrative and procedural issues with the IRS. He has also worked on tax law focused data analytics and artificial intelligence projects.

Prior to joining KPMG, Chris worked in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel (Procedure and Administration) as an Attorney then as a Senior Technician Reviewer. He is a member of the American Bar Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a B.A. degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, a J.D. from Hofstra University and an LL.M Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
