Finance Function & Reporting Advisory Lead, Finance Advisory, KPMG Australia
Peter provides detailed accounting advice for transactions and business issues as well as providing support to finance functions during periods of change. He works closely with CFOs and their finance teams to improve the operations of the finance function, integrate new acquisitions or resolve technical accounting issues. He assists in establishing finance functions, finance function improvements, acquisition support, debt refinancing and technical accounting including the adoption of new accounting standards.
Peter has supported the establishment of finance functions for a range of different entities including, clean energy, carved out mining operations, large telecommunication infrastructure assets and leasing businesses.
In addition, Peter supports clients to implement ESG reporting requirements and establish improved data collection, technology and reporting processes to support robust ESG reporting.
