Jessi Theilken is a managing director in the Income Tax & Accounting division of KPMG’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice, supporting the firm’s Accounting Methods and Credit Services group. Having spent much of her career serving the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Jessi is now a satellite member of KPMG’s WNT practice, supporting firm members and clients on a national level and extensively in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. During her 11 years at KPMG, Jessi has worked extensively in corporate compliance, income tax provision, and accounting methods consulting.
Jessi has experience preparing and reviewing Section 199 computations for taxpayers in the technology, engineering, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries. She has also worked extensively in the inventory capitalization arena, assisting clients with implementing and reviewing UNICAP calculations, lower-of-cost-or-market methodology, and LIFO computations. In addition, Jessi has a broad range of experience assisting clients with other accounting methods consulting services such as fixed asset capitalization, expense recognition, and revenue recognition. Jessi also has experience in assisting clients to oversee their federal tax operations, from tax provision reporting to completion of their Federal tax return, including providing accounting methods services such as Section 199 calculations, IRC §263A, and accounting method changes.
